Information we collect
Booking contact details, traveller identity fields, preferences, selected journey, payment references, support conversations, security events and consent records. Card details are entered into the payment gateway interface and are not stored by TingoTrip.
How we use information
To provide search and booking services, prevent fraud, fulfil supplier requirements, send essential journey updates, handle cancellations and refunds, comply with tax and legal obligations, and improve reliability. Optional marketing is processed only when separately selected.
When information is shared
Only the information necessary to fulfil a booking is shared with the selected airline, rail, bus, cab, hotel, holiday or technology supplier. Payment and communication providers receive the minimum data required for their service. Each provider may be an independent data fiduciary under its own published terms.
Retention and deletion
OTPs and short-lived security data are removed quickly. Supplier request evidence is retained for limited operational periods. Booking, payment, tax, fraud and dispute records may be retained where needed for legal obligations, claims and customer servicing. Saved travellers are removed when an eligible account deletion completes.
Your controls
Signed-in customers can export account data, revoke sessions and request deletion from Account & Security. You may withdraw optional marketing consent without affecting booking messages. Requests may require identity verification and may be limited by legal retention duties.
