Media & Press

Company information, brand assets and the right contact for journalists, partners and researchers writing about TingoTrip.

This page is for journalists, analysts, partners and students writing about TingoTrip or about online travel in India. If you need something that is not here, write to us through the Help Centre and mark your message for the press desk. We try to answer press enquiries quickly, and we will tell you plainly if we cannot help with something.

About the company

TingoTrip is an Indian online travel platform. We sell flights, trains, buses, cabs, hotels and curated holiday packages, and we handle everyday payments such as mobile recharges, DTH, FASTag, electricity and other utility bills. The unusual part of our mix is that transport, stays and everyday payments sit in one account with one wallet, rather than in separate apps.

Our holiday curation began on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra and that region remains our area of deepest expertise. We have since expanded our transport and stay coverage across India.

What we are happy to talk about

  • How online travel booking actually works in India, including how fares are sourced, revalidated and fulfilled.
  • Pricing transparency, cancellation terms and the gap between advertised and final fares.
  • Why we build for low-bandwidth and older devices, and what that changes about product decisions.
  • Regional and domestic travel patterns, particularly along the Konkan coast.
  • Payments, refunds and the practical realities of getting money back to a traveller.

What we will not comment on

We do not share individual customer information, booking records or traveller documents under any circumstances, including to confirm or deny that somebody is a customer. We also do not comment on commercial terms with individual suppliers, on unannounced product plans, or on other companies' businesses.

Brand and assets

Our name is written TingoTrip — one word, capital T on both halves. Please do not write it as Tingotrip, tingotrip or Tingo Trip. The logo mark should not be recoloured, rotated, stretched or placed on a background that reduces its contrast, and it should always keep clear space around it equal to the height of the mark.

If you need logo files, product screenshots or images at a particular size or format, ask us rather than taking assets from the site — we will send you originals.

Using our screenshots

You are welcome to use screenshots of the public site in coverage about us. Please use a current version rather than an archived one, since the product changes, and please do not edit prices, dates or availability inside a screenshot in a way that could mislead a reader about what we offer.

Fact-checking

If you are writing something that includes a claim about our size, our coverage, our pricing or how a particular feature works, send it to us before publication and we will confirm or correct it. We would much rather spend ten minutes getting a detail right than issue a correction afterwards. We will not ask to see or approve your wider story — only to check facts about us.

For students and researchers

We regularly answer questions from students working on projects about online travel, digital payments or regional tourism. Tell us what you are studying and what you need, and we will help where we can. We cannot share commercial data, but we can usually explain how something works and point you toward public sources.

Contact
